Before I go back to bed, I take a look. Some things I like, some I don't. I look to see if my image reflects how I feel, to see if there's something only I can see. My body is a place I am not always happy to be, betrayed by pain not expressed in my image.

Inexploring the idea of Gestalt image making.
This image was created by taking a figurative line
drawing made in pencil and tearing it into small pieces.
I then rearranged them until I found new shapes to
work with and drew/painted onto the image until I was satisfied.

Ink and Watercolour sketch of Laura Loo.

Another drawing of Riikka,
this time she's dressed as Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous.
Oh sweetie darling.

Sketch made with a dip pen and ink.
Rick Stein's Fish.

A couple of life drawings made in pen.
A difficult tool to work with, I think next time I'll go with the classic graphite pencil.

A few drawings from the day Emma found a deceased Robin on her travels.

This is a quick sketch of Reuben, a man who never stays still.

We drew the bird for quite a while,
a good way to get over some long standing phobias.
